
Unruly neighbor. Several Thornton residents in the 3200 block of East 104th Avenue called police June 12 because a man was running around in the middle of the night screaming, banging on people’s doors and walking into random, unlocked units. Officers found the suspect in an open apartment (which he actually was renting), and then cited him for disorderly conduct.
Man leaves dog in hot car. Police were called to the 8700 block of Grant Street, Thornton, on June 7 because witnesses said a dog was locked in a car that reached 104 degrees. The dog’s owner said he was staying at a friend’s house and he put the dog in the car with some water because it didn’t get along with his friend’s cat. He was ticketed and the dog was brought inside.
Deployed airbag. Someone broke into a woman’s car June 7 while it was parked in front of her home in the 1700 block of East 114th Place, Northglenn. The steering column was broken and the airbag had deployed.
Pocketing the cash. The manager of Express Car Wash, 2295 E. 120th Ave., Northglenn called police June 6 because he caught a cashier taking money at the register and then putting it in his pocket. He was fired.
Drunk in the park. A patrolling Thornton police officer caught a couple drinking in Bell Roth Park, 1400 Milky Way on June 11. After giving 10 different names, the woman was arrested.
Disgruntled ex employee. Police were called to the 10600 block of Downing Street, Northglenn, on June 7 because a woman was being harassed by one of her employees. Officers told him to leave her alone.
