FORT COLLINS, Colo. (AP) — Authorities have identified a man who died after being struck by a train while sitting on the tracks in Fort Collins.
that police say the victim of the early Sunday crash was 54-year-old Bradley Orr.
Police say a BNSF train had been heading north when Orr and another man were sitting on the tracks. The engineer slowed the train and sounded the horn, .
Authorities checked the tracks and found Orr’s body near the pedestrian bridge. The other man at the tracks had left the scene.
Police do not suspect foul play in Orr’s death.
Sunday’s fatality marks the third time a person was killed by a train in Larimer County since last year.
