Saturday. Adaptations of the brilliant, darkly alluring work of Roald Dahl span generations, so it makes sense that a series honoring the author would give itself a chance to stretch out. Denver Film Society’s “Welcome to the Dahl House,” which began June 4 with “Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory,” continues with Wes Anderson’s peculiar, winsome animated 2009 feature “The Fantastic Mr. Fox” at Sie FilmCenter on July 2. The Society has partnered with Tattered Cover’s Booked for Summer, offering children who read Roald Dahl prizes to be redeemed at the Sie. All guests are $5, children under 6 are free and admission includes an all-you-can-eat cereal bar. Screening at 10:30 a.m. July 2 at 2510 E. Colfax. denverfilm.org for the full lineup.
