GLENWOOD SPRINGS — Bud Gardner has officially worked for the city of Glenwood Springs for the past 23 years doing anything and everything that needs to be done.
When the streets department needed help filling potholes, he was there. When a main water line flooded Seventh Street last fall, he helped clean up the mess.
What many people don’t know is that Gardner’s daily grind goes beyond working for the city.
His day starts at 3 a.m., before most people contemplate getting out of bed.
