Beer run.On June 19, two men went into Peachwood Liquors,980 S. Peoria St. and grabbed two cases of beer from the back refrigerators and then sprinted out the front door. The store owner tried to chase them down the street, but they escaped.

Break-in at the movies. A woman called police June 16 because someone broke into her car while she was at AMC Theatre,6696 S. Parker Road. The inside of her car was trashed, from ripped visors to a broken dashboard, and the suspect took her cell phone and cup holders.

Pilfered cab. A semi-truck driver parked in the 1900 block of Jasper Street called police June 20 because someone broke into the truck and took his tools, TV, DVD player, movies and credit cards from the cab. There are no suspects.

The night shift. An employee of the Nickel A Play at 15201 E. Mississippi Ave. reported that someone smashed his car window while he was working June 19. The victim noticed that the door was also gouged when he got off work around 2 a.m.

Missing quarters. Police responded to a man’s home in the 4400 block of South Pagosa Way because he said someone came into his house through a open sliding glass door June 21 and stole $20 worth of quarters from his sock drawer. There are no suspects.

Bumper bullet. Someone shot a hole through a man’s rear fender June 23. The man noticed the hole while his car was parked in front of his home in the 3900 block of South Quatar Street, but had no idea when or where it happened.
