Interview with Todd Baur, president
Q: How did you get involved in this business?
A: As a pickup truck owner, I was always interested in ways to get more functionality from my vehicle. As I explored the industry, I saw an opportunity to develop a business specifically around truck and SUV accessory products. In 1983, we started with just truck bedliners and continued to add more products and brands. Today we offer over 600 quality brands and thousands of truck and SUV accessories.
Q: What distinguishes you from other businesses in your category?
A: We have been in the truck accessory business since 1983! Our experience with truck accessories is second to none. Every sales team member has at least 15 years of hands-on experience with our products. Truck accessories are our specialty, not just a sideline. Our showroom is big, beautiful and clean. We have dozens of working displays so our customers can have a real hands-on feel for the different accessories available and therefore make the right choice for their vehicle. Q: What do you like best about your line of work?
A: We really enjoy meeting the customers. Everyone has different uses for their vehicle and it’s a lot of fun to share our knowledge and help customers find the exact product that fits their needs.
Q: What is your business’ biggest challenge?
A: Our biggest challenge is getting the word out there about us, our products and our services. We have so much to offer that it can be difficult to communicate it all to the public.

A: We have been in the truck accessory business longer than anyone in the Denver area. We actually helped many other stores get into the industry by supplying them with product. Our staff is friendly and extremely knowledgeable, with real hands-on product experience.
