Getting your player ready...

Noted Lower Downtown preservationist Dana Crawford has had plenty of great ideas.

Her latest? An all-ages festival on the grounds of the city-anchoring train station she helped restore at 1701 Wynkoop Street.

The first Union Station 105th Meridian Buskerfest will take place with free performances on Wynkoop Plaza, including all the motley street entertainment the name implies: fire performers, musicians, face painters, hula-hoopers, jugglers and more.

Events take place 11 a.m.-9 p.m. July 16, and 1-7 p.m. July 17. The festival kicks off with a 5 p.m. concert on July 15 from brass band Gora Gora Orkestar and Toronto’s Isabella Hoops.
