Two vehicles crashed on westbound Interstate 70 on Sunday evening, causing major lane closures in both directions, according to State Patrol.
About 5:30 p.m., the State Patrol received a call of a collision between a semi-truck and a white Chevy pickup near mile marker 299, west of Bennett. The crash caused the semi to roll over, the State Patrol said.
One person was flown to a hospital, and another was being taken to a hospital by ambulance, according to the State Patrol.
All westbound I-70 lanes are closed, and one eastbound lane is closed. State patrol said drivers in the area can expect “extended delays.”
