Police in Colorado Springs have identified the 20-year-old man who was fatally shot early Saturday in the southeast part of the city.
Gary Thomas died of a gunshot wound and his manner of death has been ruled a homicide, according to investigators.
Thomas was found wounded about 2:30 a.m. Saturday in the area of the 2500 block of South Academy Boulevard by officers responding to reports of a shooting. He was taken to a hospital and later pronounced dead.
the shooting happened outside of a McDonald’s restaurant.
No suspect information in the case has been announced.
