The shooting happened near the intersection of 28th and Welton streets. Police say a “male victim” was struck in his leg by a bullet and is believed to have non-life threatening injuries.
Further details on the case were not released.
police said they were alerted to the shooting by a ShotSpotter device. Witnesses told the television station that up to 20 to 30 shots were fired.
