The national retailer is offering free Colorado-flag doughnuts with the purchase of a cold brew coffee to celebrate the state's 140th birthday.

Dunkin’ Donuts will celebrate Colorado’s 140th birthday for a week by giving a free Colorado flag doughnut to customers who purchase a cold-brew coffee.

If coffee isn’t your jam, the specially made doughnut will also be sold for 99 cents each — while supplies last. The deal starts Aug. 1, , and lasts through Aug. 7.

The Massachusetts-based doughnut shop chain, and five in the Colorado Springs and Pueblo area, four in northern Colorado and one in the mountains.

Founded in 1950, Dunkin’ Donuts now has more than 11,800 restaurants in 44 countries.
