Colorado Day is this Monday and what better way to celebrate than to lace up those hiking boots and venture out to explore the beautiful sights this state has to offer — for free?
On Aug 1., Colorado Parks and Wildlife celebrates Colorado Day with at all 42 state parks.
“Colorado Day is an opportunity for everyone to get outside and experience the diverse natural beauty and recreational activities that our 42 state parks and 350 state wildlife areas have to offer,” said CPW’s Information and Education Assistant Director, Gary Thorson.
Park entrance fees are waived, but activities like fishing and camping will still require a valid license and permit.
