A multivehicle, rollover crash Tuesday morning on Interstate 25 in Thornton killed one and injured three.
Officer Matt Barnes, spokesman for the Thornton police department, said the crash happened in the northbound lanes near 128th Avenue. At least one vehicle “flipped” into opposing traffic, he said.
Traffic is backed up in the area as all southbound lanes have been closed as well as two northbound lanes. Authorities say motorists should expect extended closures and long delays.
