Skyline Park in downtown Denver will be home to a pop-up beer garden from Aug. 19 through Sept. 15, the brainchild of the Downtown Denver Partnership and the Downtown Denver Business Improvement District.
To be open daily from 11 a.m. until 10 p.m., weather permitting, the 40,000-square-foot garden at Arapahoe Street and the 16th Street Mall will seat up to 350 people and, through a partnership with the Lowery Beer Garden, offer a dozen Colorado-crafted beers on tap, mixed drinks and wine, as well as several food items.
Also, patrons will find Skyline Park Games to play, including ping-pong, nine holes of miniature golf and cornhole boards, as well as live music on Fridays and Saturdays.
“The Skyline Beer Garden builds on several initiatives to bring diverse and attractive programming to Skyline Park and support long-term strategies to create a premier outdoor downtown that contributes to an economically thriving center city,” John Desmond, executive vice president of downtown environment for the Downtown Denver Partnership, said in a statement.
