NFL reporter Nick Groke analyzes how Broncos quarterbacks Mark Sanchez, Trevor Siemian and Paxton Lynch performed at practice Thursday:

Sanchez — He worked methodically in a line-less seven-on-seven hurry-up drill, moving his receivers down the field step-by-step. He also found tight end Virgil Green in the end zone during a red zone drill.

Trevor Siemian — The best pass of practice Thursday connected Siemian with Green, on a fade route to the corner of the end zone. Green dove just inside the lines to make the catch — and earned the day’s loudest applause from fans.

Paxton Lynch — After he checked off his passing options on a play against defensive backups, the rookie scrambled left toward the sideline. He cut out of bounds just before the first-down marker.
