Denver police on Thursday released a sketch of a man suspected in an attempted sex assault on Monday as they seek the
public’s help in finding him.

Investigators say the encounter happened about 5 a.m. Monday, near the cemetery at the intersection of East Dartmouth Avenue and Parker Road.

The suspect is described as an man with a thin build who was wearing all black and had a “noticeable bump on the upper right eyelid.” Police say he knocked the victim — a female — to the ground and tried to sexually assault her.

Anyone with information on the case is asked to call Metro Denver Crime Stoppers at 720-913-7867. Tipsters are eligible for a reward up to $2,000 and can remain anonymous.
