A brush fire broke out Monday afternoon near homes in Parker.
The fire, near the 9300 block of Tammy Lane, is under control, according to South Metro Fire Rescue.
There were no injuries and no residences or structures are under threat, the fire department said at 2:53 p.m. on Twitter.
The fire burned about an acre. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
