Emergency responders were called Wednesday night to a Douglas County hotel on a report of a drowning incident.
The call came at 7:52 p.m. and workers with South Metro Fire Rescue responded to Candlewood Suites, 10535 El Diente Court, said Eric Hurst, a South Metro spokesman.
The victim, a child, was taken to a hospital, Hurst said, and was reported to be “awake and breathing.”
