The 24-year-old driver accused of killing a Boulder cyclist veered about 3 feet into the bike lane before hitting the cyclist and then fleeing the scene.

Callie Kuhasz, 24, has been charged with vehicular homicide and leaving the scene of an accident involving a death in connection with the hit-and-run crash that killed William Davis, 35, of Boulder on June 25.

She was also charged with DUI-second alcohol offense and weaving.

At a preliminary hearing in Boulder County Court today, Boulder County Judge Karolyn Moore ruled there was enough evidence to send the case to district court for an arraignment on Oct. 21.
