The recently published transportation report published by the CoPIRG Foundation and Southwest Energy Efficiency Project shows the need for more investment in biking, walking and transit, and we applaud the authors for bringing this to light. People are clamoring for easier ways to get around. Colorado needs a balanced transportation system that provides safe options for people of all ages.
Colorado is growing at a rapid pace, which contributes to our thriving economy. But it is also making our roads more congested and our environment more polluted. Investments in biking, walking and transit will help ensure that our growing state continues to be an amazing place to call home.
