Authorities in Larimer County have identified the husband and wife in Big Thompson Canyon.
The coroner said Monday that Joshua and Sherri Zander were from Fort Collins and both died of multiple blunt force injuries. Their deaths have been ruled an accident.
The crash happened about 4:45 p.m. on U.S. 34 west of Loveland, where the motorcycle the Zanders were riding on collided with a car. The cleanup closed the highway for more than four hours.
State Patrol investigators still were at the scene at 9 p.m. Sunday. Further details on the crash have not been released.
