A shooting victim in northeast Denver was taken Tuesday night to a hospital.
The shooting happened in the 14400 block of Maxwell Place, said Tyrone Campbell, a Denver Police Department spokesman.
Police were called out on the shooting just before 8 p.m., Campbell said.
Officers in the area were seeking to interview witnesses. The person shot was wounded seriously, Campbell said.
Information about a motive or a suspect was not released.
