
Driver menaced with gun. A man was driving to work July 28 when another motorist began following him too closely. In the 5900 block of South Santa Fe Drive, Littleton, the other driver pulled alongside him and the two exchanged words. The other driver displayed a handgun and tapped it on his car door before driving off. Police caught up to the suspect and warned him but the other driver refused to press charges.
Break in to steal keys. Police responded to a burglary in the 4800 block of South Grant Street, Englewood, on Aug. 1 and caught a woman in the home’s backyard. She was carrying house and vehicle keys stolen from inside. She was arrested.
Angry, ungrateful cook. A man was assaulted in Bega Park, 2250 W. Main St., Littleton, on July 29. He said an unknown man approached and asked to borrow his lighter to start a grill. After failing to get the grill burning, the suspect got mad and smashed the lighter on the ground. The victim confronted him and the suspect punched him twice in the face before running away.
Driver has issues. A driver was pulled over in the 4600 block of South Broadway, Englewood, on Aug. 12. He had an active warrant for his arrest. Police found meth in his car. He was arrested.
Quick bust for bike thief. Police responding to a burglary call in the 3200 block of South Cherokee Street, Englewood, intercepted a 29-year-old man riding a bicycle that was reportedly stolen from the property. He was arrested.
