Friday-Saturday:  is just one of a few funny events this weekend. In addition to the usual shows at Comedy Works and the Denver Improv, there’s the second annual Longmont Laugh Fest, with four venues, 12 shows and more than 50 comics from around the country, produced by Longmontap Bub Comedy. Various shows through Aug. 27, $5-$7 (most shows are free). .

Also Aug. 27: Denver drag queen Mona Lottap “Big Fat Dirty Game Show,” a comedic twist on the usual trivia- and prize-fest, will bring its interactive format to the Voodoo Comedy Playhouse, 1260 22nd St., at 8 p.m. Aug. 27 to begin its monthly run through October. $10-$12.
