Authorities in Adams County have identified the 42-year-old man arrested .
Anthony Dennis Grayson is suspected of first-degree murder in the case, the county sheriff’s office said Friday afternoon in a news release.
Deputies were called to the scene of a robbery about 5 p.m. on Thursday in the 7000 block of Pecos Street, according to the sheriff’s office. When they arrived, authorities found a man suffering from stab wounds.
The man was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead. Officials have not released his name.
Investigators say Grayson was taken into custody at the scene without incident. He is being held at the Adams County jail.
“No further information will be released at this time,” the sheriff’s office said.
Officials did not discuss what precipitated the stabbing.
