The Broncos quickly denied the report saying that it was completely false.

Broncos general manager John Elway also denied the report in his roster cutdown news conference: “False. False. His name was never brought up anywhere.”
Talib drew a large amount of attention this summer after suffering a in his right leg while he was in Dallas in early June.
The NFL is still investigating the incident and has no new update on possible league discipline.
When healthy, Talib forms one of the NFL’s top cornerback duos with Chris Harris. He has seven interceptions over the last two seasons since joining Denver in free agency prior to the 2014 season.
