The Nebraska Cornhuskers took a penalty on its first punt of the game Saturday, but it was well worth it.
At the end of their first offensive drive against Fresno State, the Cornhuskers sent out 10 men on fourth-and-4 early in the first quarter, leaving an empty spot for a punter. This was in memory of punter Sam , which also took the life of former Michigan State punter Mike Sadler.
Nebraska would win the game 43-10.
