A pedestrian was seriously injured Friday night in a hit-and-run traffic incident in east Denver, police said.
The pedestrian was hit at the intersection of East Colfax Avenue and Colorado Boulevard, according to a Denver Police Department Twitter post at 10:22 p.m.
Police described the vehicle involved as “possibly” a gray Chevrolet Impala, with license plate QXP732.
The victim was taken to a local hospital. Further details on the injuries were not immediately available.
Westbound Colfax Avenue was closed at Colorado by the incident. An investigation is ongoing.
