Denver police nabbed two car thieves in separate incidents within a four-hour span Sunday night and Monday morning after the suspects crashed the stolen cars.

In the first incident, a suspect stole a car and then wrecked the vehicle in the 600 block of West Mississippi.

Police made an arrest after the suspect fled on foot.

In the second case, another suspect wrecked a stolen car in the 900 block of South Vrain Street.

Police arrested the second suspect at the scene. The second suspected car thief was not injured.
