One person was killed and two others seriously hurt in a two-vehicle crash early Wednesday in eastern Colorado Springs.
Police say the wreck happened about 12:15 a.m. when a vehicle eastbound on Constitution Avenue was broadsided by another vehicle heading north on Powers Boulevard.
The person who died was a passenger in the eastbound vehicle, according to investigators. Two others were taken to hospitals for treatment for serious, though non-life threatening, injuries.
No names have been released.
The crash remains under investigation. Colorado Springs police have not said what caused the collision or who is at fault and a department spokesman could not immediately be reached for comment.
