Colorado Springs police are looking for three men in a small, gold sedan after a 45-year-old man was shot in the leg in front of a convenience store early Saturday evening.
The incident began when an argument broke out between a pedestrian and those in the car in front of the Kum & Go at 1021 South Nevada Avenue, Lt. Mary Rosenoff said Sunday.
One of the car’s occupants pointed a pistol out the window and fired a round that hit the man in his left leg.
The bullet was slowed when it hit a metal flask he carried in his pants.
He was taken to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The investigation is ongoing.
