Grandview blitzes Doherty 65-27 to improve to 7-1

The Wolves put up 60-plus points for the second straight week and sit alone atop the Mount Massive standings

Grandview exploded for 28 points in the first quarter and eventually turned a shootout into a rout Friday night at Legacy Stadium in a 65-27 win over Doherty. Senior running back Hayden Blubaugh led the Wolves attack with 187 yards and five scores on the ground.

With the win, the Wolves improve to 7-1 and 3-0 in the Mount Massive Conference; the Spartans fall to 6-2 and 2-1 in league play. No. 6 Grandview is in action next Friday at Arapahoe, while Doherty is on the road at Overland that same night.
