Good morning, folks. You’re getting your Roundup a touch later than normal because yours truly got to be the overnight producer at denverpost.com, which is only important to you because that means today’s newsletter is going to be loosier and goosier than its already normally elevated levels of goosiness and loosiness.
With that note in mind, let’s pour out an ounce of coffee for the memory of Brock Osweiler and get right into it.

Broncos made it a Brockbuster night
I can’t stop looking at that photo. Just yesterday I was complaining about how boring NFL games are (and don’t get me wrong, they still can be), for anyone outside of the Houston metro area. The $72 million man, Brock Osweiler was mightily booed for the first few possessions until the fans realized (seriously, ). (I , but admittedly, I was more than the man himself).

Ballots are already pouring in
132,932
That’s how many ballots have been counted so far in the state of Colorado, with 16 days to go until election day. How did I know that? By . The chart not only tracks how many of what party’s ballots have been counted, but also shows how each day compares to the 2014 election to make it easy to identify trends. Pretty slick!
+ Using this tool, John Frank was able to see that so far, which bucks the trend from the 2014 midterm election.
+ Colorado’s . But why do we have the law in the first place? It was designed to prevent vote-buying, and the example given hits close to home for me. From Noelle Phillips’ article: “For example, a saloon owner in Wray offered pigs feet and whiskey to voters in 1902 who would support moving the Yuma County seat to his town instead of the town of Yuma. The final vote was 707-324 in favor of Wray, according to an article in the Yuma Pioneer newspaper.” At least I can now blame the fact that I had to drive to Wray to get my driver’s license when I was 16 on a crooked turn-of-the-century barman.
Ridiculously good deal: . There is literally no better deal on the internet.
