Man throws printer cartridges. On Oct. 10, a man called Jefferson County Sheriff’s deputies after a customer at Walmart, 13420 W. Coal Mine Ave., threw printer cartridges at him and another employee. The suspect reportedly was angry that he could not return the cartridges because he didn’t have a receipt and the package was opened. The suspect apologized and the employee agreed to drop the charges if the suspect never returned to the store.

Mail theft reported. A deputy responded to a report of mail theft Oct. 11 in the 10000 block of S. Wandcrest Drive, Pine. The reporting party said he saw a car blocking his driveway and recognized it as one he had seen taking mail from people’s mailboxes earlier. The suspect would take envelopes and put them in a bag, but put back coupons. The man said he had some items that were missing.

Homeowners report suspicious noise. On Oct. 12, a woman called deputies after she heard her screen door close and thought someone was trying to gain entry into her home in the 7000 block of Frontier Circle, Morrison. The woman said the sound of the door awoke her and she and her husband got up to see if there was any other activity. They saw a car drive away from the area, but there was no evidence of a break-in.

Woman reports note on truck. A woman called deputies on Oct. 11 after she found a note on her truck from an upset neighbor in the 5000 block of South Vivian Street. The woman thought she was being harassed and had received other complaints about her vehicles in the past. The deputy said there was nothing constituting a threat in the note. The note was documented.

Clown emails reported. On Oct. 10, a man called deputies to report emails that his friend was receiving from a woman wearing a clown mask. An officer responded to the 10000 block of West Chenango Drive and viewed the Facebook messages from a suspicious party that the victim said she did not know. The victim said she was scared of clowns.
