As the Denver Nuggets played their second game against the Portland Trailblazers, the team took time to recognize a legend, none other than Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame inductee and former Nugget Dikembe Mutombo.
During halftime of the Nuggets game, the team retired Mutombo’s #55 jersey, raising it high into the rafters. Here are some tweets from the ceremony.

One fan even suggested members of the current Nuggets team get in on the action.
Would someone please block a shot in this game and give the Diekembe finger wag!
