Donald Trump is returning to Colorado for a rally Saturday that looks to capitalize on recent polls showing the presidential race narrowing in a key battleground state.
The 9:30 p.m. event at the National Western Complex in Denver is the final stop on a whirlwind day that also takes the Republican nominee to Florida, North Carolina and Nevada.
It comes as an average of recent polls indicates a close race in Colorado against Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton. One of the from the University of Denver put Trump and Clinton tied at 39 percent in a four-way race, and locked in a dead-heat in a head-to-head match-up.
The campaign rally is the third event in eight days to Colorado for the New York businessman after he attended last weekend.
