Police say a sexual assault happened early Saturday at a dormitory building on the University of Colorado Boulder campus.
The CU Boulder Police Department says it was alerted to the sex assault inside a room at Hallett Hall at about 2:15 a.m.

Investigators say the suspect is a white, college-age man who is 5-foot, 9-inches tall with a medium build and short, dark curly hair. He was wearing tan pants and a white t-shirt.
Hallett Hall houses about 450 students — most of them freshmen — according to the university’s website. Further details on the assault were not released.
The CUPD says it is investigating the incident.
