Interview with Andrew Duvall, community and sales manager

Q: How did you get involved in this business?
A: I kept an eye on Resolute as they began building the business from the ground up and publishing information via their website and social media. It was immediately apparent that the owners were not cutting any corners and were building something truly special. After a couple interviews and a few brews, I was fortunate enough to receive an offer to join the team.

Q: What distinguishes you from other businesses in your category?
A: The company’s unrelenting approach and attitude in everything we do is truly contagious from the top down. It’s in the name. We are all Resolute in our work ethic, dedication to our neighborhoods and communities and the delicious beer Zac Rissmiller (our head brewer) makes. I believe this mindset is evident and compelling to our customers, and has really helped us excel out of the gate.

Q: What do you like best about your line of work?
A: I find the unique people I get to interact with in my day-to-day the most rewarding aspect of making a career in the Colorado craft beer industry. From customers to colleagues, Colorado offers a cornucopia of extremely talented and interesting folks from all walks of life. It is truly inspiring and motivating to work with such a diverse group of people.

Q: What is your business’ biggest challenge?
A: Standing out and offering true originality while maintaining top-tier quality in such a rapidly growing industry.

Q: Something people might be surprised to learn about you or your business:
A: In a state where everyone is from everywhere else, our head brewer and three of the four owners were proudly born and raised in Littleton,  and are Columbine High School alumni.
