Here is a mai tai as made by Jason King of Aloy Modern Thai in Denver’s LoDo neighborhood.
The Mai Tai, $9: Not too sweet, the drink satisfies this land locked states need to feel, or taste, like we’re on the beach.
Ingredients
- 1 oz Orgeat Syrup
- ¾ oz Triple Sec
- 1 ½ oz Mekhong liquor
- Splash bitters
- Edible flower and cherry for garnish
Preparation
Mix to together, shake and strain over ice. Top with edible flower and cherry.
