Inmate sprayed with feces. On Nov. 6, an inmate at the Downtown Detention Center, 490 W. Colfax Ave., was cited for spraying feces on another inmate. Reportedly on his free time, the suspect placed feces inside a coffee bag and placed it under the victim’s cell. He then stomped on the bag, spraying the feces over the victim and his bed. The suspect was charged with assault.

Three people robbed. Denver police responded to a robbery Nov. 5 in the 1700 block of Vine Street. Police learned that three victims were approached by six suspects, who took their items using physical force. They then fled on Vine Street.

Suspect smashes car window. On Nov. 4, police responded to a mischief incident in the 1700 block of Bassett Street where a car window was smashed. The victims told police that a man had smashed their car window and then fled into an apartment complex. Police found the suspect and the victims identified him.

Man assaulted. A man called police Nov. 2 after he was assaulted near the intersection of West 38th Avenue and Navajo Street. The victim said he was driving in the area when he noticed a man and his girlfriend flipping him off. The victim stopped to talk to the suspect and was accused of looking at the suspect’s girlfriend. The suspect then attacked the victim and struck him several times.

Stolen car recovered. On Nov. 1, a police officer had an abandoned car removed from Interstate 25 near Hampden Avenue. After having the car towed, the officer learned that the car was stolen out of Frisco. The officer then relocated the car and had it impounded.
