Getting your player ready...

Keep your eyes on the road. A driver was headed south on Interstate 25 just past Upper Lake Gulch Road in Douglas County Oct. 10 when another motorist came alongside in a teal sedan. The driver of that vehicle was obviously masturbating and his genitals were visible through the window, according to the reporting party. The caller did not want to pursue charges.

Purse pilfered. A woman woke up Oct. 13 to find her purse had been stolen out of the back seat of her car, which was parked in the garage of her home in the 9500 block of Parrammatta Place, Highlands Ranch. She took the trash out the night before and forgot to close the garage. She canceled her debit and credit cards. The purse, minus one card, was found nearby later that day.

Tooling around. A ranch hand at a horse boarding facility located in the 5000 block of Garton Road, Douglas County, called police Oct. 16 to report more than $570 in power and hand tools he owned had been stolen from the property’s open barn over night. He and the property owner suspected a former employee but that person had an alibi.

It’s an order for a reason. On Oct. 30, a Lone Tree police officer spotted a man in the company of someone a restraining order barred him from being near while the two parties were at a business in the 9800 block of South Yosemite Street, Lone Tree. The man was arrested.

Stopping power. An officer drew a gun Oct. 31 to detain a suspect that was trying to enter a home at an undisclosed address in Parker. The suspect was a juvenile. No shots were fired.
