
Yelling at 7-Eleven. On Nov. 5, a man and his father said they were speaking Spanish to each other inside the 7-Eleven at 6302 E. 72nd Ave., Commerce City, when a woman walked up and told them to learn to speak English. The man responded to the woman that he did speak English, and they started arguing inside the store and out in the parking lot. The woman left and the men received warnings for disorderly conduct.
Lunchroom fighting. Police responded to Adams City High School, 7200 Quebec St., Commerce City, on Oct. 2 because six boys got into a fist fight during study hall. Because more than 100 kids stopped working to watch the fight, all boys were ticketed for disturbing peaceful assembly.
Screaming and smashing. Residents in the 11400 block of Melody Drive, Northglenn, called police Nov. 6 about a couple who were fighting and had smashed out the windows of their apartment. The suspects were found walking in a field nearby and ticketed.
Urinating in the street. On Nov. 3, a patrolling Commerce City police officer noticed a suspicious car parked in front of a construction site in the 9400 block of East 108th Avenue. A man inside the car got out and started urinating in the road. The officer stopped him and cited him.
Swiped bike. A woman who lives in the 11000 block of Huron Street called Northglenn police Nov. 1 because someone stole her bike from outside her home overnight. There are no suspects.
Attempted car break in. Police were called to the 11300 block of Melody Drive, Northglenn, Nov. 8 because a woman noticed that someone tried to break into her car. No entry was gained.
