A Pueblo man has been convicted of murder in the death of his 77-year-old grandmother.

Anthony Sena was found guilty Tuesday in the July 2015 death of Susan Hernandez.

A Pueblo County jury found Sena, 29, guilty of murder, arson and theft, according to Colorado justice officials. The charge of first-degree murder triggers a mandatory life sentence in prison.

Hernandez, who suffered blunt-force trauma to the head, was when emergency crews responded to a fire. She was the mother of seven, according to her obituary. Sena was one of Hernandez’s 15 grandchildren.
