Unwanted housewarming party. Police responded to a home being built in the 4800 block of South Biloxi Way on Nov. 13 because the future home owner went to check on the progress of the house and noticed that someone had thrown a party there. Police found  an empty bottle of liquor, red cups that had been melted and multiple holes punched in the sheet rock. There was food and trash scattered all over the kitchen counters, upstairs and in the master bedroom, and a section of carpet had been burned. The unknown suspects entered through unlocked windows and caused $3,000 in damages.

Crash and dash. Someone drove their car into a woman’s garage door in the 23500 block of East Alamo Place on Nov. 13 and then left before the victim came home. The door was minorly damaged, but it no longer opened. There were no witnesses or suspects.

Stolen stereo. On Nov. 11 a man called police to his home in the 1200 block of North Dallas Street because he someone broke into his truck and stole his new $400 touch screen stereo system overnight. There was no evidence of a break in, and too much contamination to try to get fingerprints.

Vandalized construction site. An employee of Richmond Homes who was working on a development in the 7700 block of South Quantock Way reported Nov. 7 that a home there had been damaged. It appeared that someone tried to break in through a basement window, but they didn’t get inside.
