Interview with Chad Logsdon, general manager

Q: How did you get involved in this business?
A: We saw the need for a neighborhood sports bar in the South Denver area so people would have choices other than the big chains.

Q: What distinguishes you from other businesses in your category?
:The neighborhood bar feel distinguishes us from other sports bars. We have lots of regulars that come here not only to get great food and drinks, but also to make new friends and have a good time. We also have a lot of space to accommodate larger groups for happy hours and events. We hold fun events most nights of the week, such as free bingo on Tuesday and Thursday, and karaoke on Friday and Saturday.

Q: What do you like best about your line of work?
A: Taking care of people and making sure that guests leave happy and wanting to come back right away. We enjoy making connections with our guests on a more personal level.

Q: What is your business’ biggest challenge?
A: Our biggest challenge is our location. We have become hidden from the road by new apartment structures. We are right at the Lincoln light rail station off Park Meadows Drive, so we are a great place to stop before or after riding the light rail. We just need to get more people to know that we are here.

Q: Something people might be surprised to learn about you or your business:
A: That we have been here since 2009. We still love seeing new faces come in and being impressed with our restaurant and are shocked that they haven’t found us sooner. Most of our food is made from scratch so guests are surprised with the quality we offer versus other bars.
