For 2014, the Beauty of the Season holiday lights display was awash in red and green in Colorado Springs.

Almost 30,000 lights and a 6-foot-tall singing and dancing Santa Claus adorned the 2014 Miller/Hawkins Christmas Lights display in Commerce City.

2014 was the 18th year of The Christmas Train display in Westminster. The train runs from 5:30 to 10pm every night up to New Years Day unless it's snowing.

Longtime contributors to The Denver Post Holiday Lights Map, the Snidow family have thousands of lights, and Santa Claus arrived by chopper on the roof in Thornton in 2014.

Rockin Christmas 2014 at 1021 Neptunite Place in Castle Rock. The show has 7-10 songs and spans two homes, using nearly 32,000 channels of computer-controlled LED lights that dance to the music.

I have been putting on a Christmas Show for 10 years. I am up to over 17,000 lights synchronized to music. The picture does not do it the least bit of justice it truly has to be seen in person.
