Police in Pueblo say a man was wounded after shooting his ex-wife and her male friend late Wednesday.
The shooting happened about 11:15 p.m. on the 1600 block of East 4th Street where responding officers found all three with gunshot wounds.
The former couple were taken to a Denver-area hospital for treatment, while the male friend was rushed to a local Pueblo hospital for medical care.

“Initial information gathered indicates the incident was a domestic (violence situation) with an ex-husband arriving to the area,” Pueblo police said in a news release. “He then proceeded to shoot his ex-wife and a male friend who was present at the house.”
Police did not say how the ex-husband was wounded in the shooting, and a Pueblo police spokesman did not immediately return a message seeking comment.
No names have been released. The conditions of the three people were not made public.
Police say their investigation into the shooting remains active and ongoing.
