Paul Richards, a KRDO NewsRadio announcer whose broadcasting career at local stations spanned more than 30 years, was found dead Sunday in his home in the Skyway neighborhood in southwest Colorado Springs, the station announced on its 5 p.m. newscast. He was 55.
Police were called to the home on the 3000 block of Electra Drive around noon. No announcement was made although Gazette news partner KKTV reported Sunday afternoon that police said the death was not being investigated as suspicious or the result of foul play.
KRDO said the cause of death is unknown.
