Lurking in the alley. An employee of the Domino’s Pizza, 9592 Federal Blvd., Federal Heights was taking some trash out behind the building Nov. 4 when she encountered a strange man standing near the dumpster with a 7-inch knife in his hand. The man started following the woman around the building and then charged at her when she ran back in the restaurant. Police found him nearby, confiscated the blade and arrested him for menacing and illegally possessing a weapon.

Aggressive dog charges at neighbors. On Nov. 2, Federal Heights dispatch received a call from a hysterical woman who said she was running through the streets in the 9400 block of Elm Court, being chased by a vicious dog. When police arrived, the victim showed them where the loose dog lived. Police ticketed the owner for letting the dog run loose, and for not having vaccination paperwork.

Robot vandals. Northglenn police responded to the 10700 block of Logan Court Nov. 1 because someone broke the homeowner’s Freddy Kruger and mummy animatronics Halloween decorations overnight.

Screen smashers. An employee of Redbox reported Nov. 19 that someone shattered the screen out of one of their machines outside the McDonald’s, 10400 Belle Creek Blvd., Commerce City. There was no surveillance of the incident.

Abandoned box spring. On Nov. 19, a patrolling Commerce City police officer spotted a snow-covered box spring thrown on the side of the road in the 7500 block of Quebec Street. There are no suspects.

Junk cars. A woman who lives in the 9800 block of Decatur Street, Federal Heights, received a code citation Nov. 5 because she had an unlicensed car parked in her driveway, which was classified as junk.
