Hiding in the bushes. Patrolling officers came upon a suspicious car parked in the 11800 block of Clarkson Court, Northglenn on Nov. 12. No one was inside the car, but three underage and drunken kids were found hiding in shrubbery nearby. They were released to their parents.

Changing in the parking lot. An employee of the Famous Footwear, 10620 Melody Dr, Northglenn, called police Nov. 10 after a man who stole a pair of shoes took off through the parking lot. Officers found the suspect changing their shoes outside of a car parked nearby and recovered the stolen shoes in the car.

Fleeing on foot. A man was arrested Nov. 9 in the 6300 block of East 64th Avenue, Commerce City, for having three active warrants. When an officer tried to handcuff him, he started running. The officer pushed him into a fence, but he got up and sprinted away.

Locked out. Police were called to the 6300 block of East 78th Way, Commerce City, on Nov. 8 because a woman locked her boyfriend out of their house. The boyfriend kicked in the front door. Everyone on scene said he only kicked it in to get it open, so no charges were filed.

Unwanted phone calls. A woman called Northglenn police Nov. 6 because a man she previously filed harassment charges against was calling her home in the 10900 block of Melody Drive. Officers listened to a voicemail left by the suspect, but they couldn’t determine who he was calling for.

Hood rock. An employee of Rocky Mountain Transload, 7350 Krameria Dr., Commerce City, called police Nov. 7 because someone threw a rock at one of the company trucks and broke a window. The rock was resting on the hood of the damaged car.
